My clinical interests include treating sarcomas and head and neck tumors with radiation therapy. I am also involved in clinical trial design with an emphasis on biomarker devlelopment and translational studies. I have also previously worked at the St. Louis VA as the Chief of the Radiation Oncology service. Currently, I serve as the PI for an institutional trial using proton LATTICE radiation therapy for advanced recurrent solid tumors greater than 4.5 cm. You can contact me at apicella@wustl.edu
